Antonidas is the leader of Kirin Tor, one of the six councils in WOW Dalaran. He is the magic mentor of Jaina Proudmoore. When he was 71 years old, he became the great Mage. In the second war, he fought for defending the Violet Citadel. After war, he reconstructed it beside Lordamere Lake, and took a stand that Dalaran was loyal to Alliance. It can be said that he devotes himself in guarding the Violet Citadel. On the other hand, his student Jaina Proudmoore helped him a lot. She spent most of the time on hunting for information of the outside.

Later, when the plague was spreading in the northern Lordaeron, Antonidas encountered a mysterious prophet, namely Medivh who informed him Lordaeron would fall to enemy occupation, and only moving towards west could save his people. But he was ignored it, considering the prophet as a madman who could use magic. He also disregarded the curiosity of Jaina Proudmoore towards the prophet. However, the fact proves that he is wrong, and the cost is really heavy.

When the Undead Scourge led by Alsace was outside the WOW Dalaran once again, Antonidas created a magic barrier which could do serious harm to the Undead who went into Dalaran with his unparalleled magic. However, it was captured after at the expense of sacrificing a large number of subordinates of Alsace at the end. Besides, Antonidas was killed.

After the death of Antonidas, his unrest soul still wandered in the ruins of WOW Dalaran for some time, continuing to attack any thigh that he considered to be aggressors of the Undead. When Kael'Thas, the Sunstrider in WOW Money, escaped from the dungeon, he found the ghost of Antonidas and his companions and eliminated them. Ultimately, those souls rested in peace after several months.
